How to Know Who's Who Among the Hiltons

For most people the name “Hilton” means two things, the hotel chain and heiress, ex-con and home video porn star Paris Hilton. There must be more to the Hiltons than that, but who are they?

1. Conrad Nicholson Hilton (1887-1979). He bought his first hotel in 1919 and built his business into a worldwide empire. He bought the Waldorf-Astoria in 1949. Married three times, he had three sons by his first marriage and a daughter by his second. His autobiography, “Be My Guest,” can be found in the bedside drawers of all the hotel rooms in his chain.
2. Zsa Zsa Gabor (born 1917). The second wife of Conrad and an actress who has been married nine times, Zsa Zsa is one of those celebrities who are now famous just for being famous.
3. Conrad “Nicky” Jr.(1926-69). Playboy, hotel executive and for nine months, the husband of Elizabeth Taylor.
4. Elizabeth Taylor (born 1932). Legendary actress, married eight times (including twice to Richard Burton) and winner of two Academy Awards, for “Butterfield 8” and “Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”
5. Barron Hilton (born 1927). Co-chairman of the Hilton Hotels Corporation and owner of the San Diego Chargers. After his father died and left most of his estate to the Catholic Church, Barron successfully sued, greatly increasing his family's net worth. There have been reports that Barron Hilton is so ashamed of his granddaughter Paris' behavior that he is disinheriting her.
6. Paris Hilton (1981). Granddaughter of Barron Hilton and a celebrity, heiress and model. She starred in the reality series “The Simple Life,” but has had less success in dramatic roles and as a singer. In 2007, she served 22 days of a 45 day sentence for DUI. Paris is best-known for her numerous sexual entanglements. She has been linked to Nick Carter, Oscar De La Hoya, Jared Leto, Jamie Kennedy, Stavros Niarchos III, Paris Latsis, Simon Rex, Deryck Whibley, Jason Shaw, Joe Francis, Edward Furlong, Rob Mills, Leonardo Di Caprio, Robert Evans, Jake Sumner, Vincent Gallo, Tom Sizemore, Colin Farrell and Brandon Davis among many others. Her chief claim to fame is the homemade sex video, “1 Night in Paris,” made with her then-boyfriend Rick Saloman.
7. Nicky Hilton (1983). Sister of Paris. and celebrity, sometime actress and fashion designer. She was married for less than four months to Todd Meister.
