2. When the installation wizard boots up on your screen, take the time to read it thoroughly and follow the step-by-step instructions.
3. You will be asked if the location they chose to install the software is correct. Take the time to make a mental note of where it is. Keep your computer programs organized by keeping them all in one file.
4. When the installation is complete, take the time to read the "readme" documentation. There could be a vital bit of information that you will need later!
5. If the software is on a disk - remove it and save it in a safe place. If it is a downloaded program, print out any important information like registration codes or phone numbers and keep it safe as well.
6. After these steps have been taken, if the installation doesn't prompt you to restart your computer, do it anyway.
