Have you tried to find a practical way to remember all your passwords? It can be challenging to be consistent but you will need to find a method that works for you. There are online password managers, but this is more a list of practices that you can use to protect yourself from revealing your codes to the wrong person.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Don't make your password obvious by using your name or birthdate or personal information.

  2. Step 2

Change your password every once in a while. Even if you just add another letter to the sequence, it is a new password. Don't forget to make the change in your list!

  3. Step 3

If you tend to be forgetful and post yourself little notes - don't do it with your password. Take the time to memorize it and put it in the right place.

  4. Step 4

Email is not a place for sending passwords. You never know who else might see it, especially in a work environment.

  5. Step 5

If you have to log on to a secure site, use the log-off button they provide.

  6. Step 6

Even if it is easy and convenient, don't use the same password for everything! Keep it different.
