Ever want all the sweet, tasty goodness of a cannoli without the soggy shell? Make this; it's perfect for your next holiday dinner or a casual party.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz. soft cream cheese
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 C. confectioner's sugar
  • 3/4 C. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 C. mini-size semisweet chocolate morsels
  • Cinnamon-and-sugar pita chips
  • Baked wheat crackers

    How to Make Cannoli Dip

  1. Step 1

    Combine cream cheese and butter.

  2. Step 2

    Add confectioner's sugar, then cream the mixture.

  3. Step 3

    Add vanilla extract and mix.

  4. Step 4

    Add chocolate morsels and mix.

  5. Step 5

    Shape into a ball, cover with plastic warp and refrigerate at least two hours.

  6. Step 6

    One hour before serving, roll the cannoli ball in the chopped pecans.

  7. Step 7

    Serve with crackers and pita chips.
