  1. Step 1

Pool table lights are hung up above the pool table for maximum lighting whether you play during the daytime or at nighttime. The pool table lights should extol your pool table. Your peers will notice the symmetry it produces.

  2. Step 2

If you have a pool table and do any entertaining, it is imperative to have a pool table light that brings out the personification of the pool table, but also helps your friends to admire the pool table light too. The stained glass pool table lights are very picturesque and help to utilize them in achieving your intent. In other words, when your friends are over, do you want them to comment on your pool table alone? If you are the type of person, who wants an opinion, then the stained glass pool table light is the way to go. There is an abundance of styles to opt for.

  3. Step 3

There are themes that you can explore. The traditional pool hall scenario where taverns were the only place you could go and shoot is one of many. It may conjure up images of the olden days with the old west frontier. You may even take that a step further by having a bar situated close to the pool table. The ambiance would make a die-hard pool player shriek in delight. A classic example of a pool table light is a picture of dogs wearing hats, smoking cigars and playing pool. That epitome can give anyone a chuckle if it is in your playing area.

  4. Step 4

The pool table lighting should be placed high enough to cover the pool table’s circumference, but not high enough to get glare in people’s eyes. Therefore, there should be additional lighting nearby to light up the room. If you are entertaining guests and have seating available, pool lights hung above the tables would provide more source of lighting.

  5. Step 5

When selecting a pool table it is always a good idea to have a pool table light that will attract the pool table and not the room itself. That can be done with additional lighting. When people come over and see the pool table light hovering over the pool table, they will know someone with experience made the correct choice.
