How to Make Spiced Cranberry Sauce

If you love cranberries, especially around the holidays, you should try this Spiced Cranberry Sauce recipe. You can serve it as a side dish with turkey, ham or chicken.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 cups of cranberries
  • 5 cloves
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 5 allspice
  • 5 sticks of cinnamon
  • 2 blades of mace
  1. Step 1

    Pick over and wash your cranberries.

  2. Step 2

    Place your cranberries in a saucepan and cover with cold water.

  3. Step 3

    Tie spices in a cheese cloth bag and drop it in with the cranberries.

  4. Step 4

    Cook until the berries burst.

  5. Step 5

    Remove spice bag and add sugar. Cook until the mixture is clear.

  6. Step 6

    Chill.
