How to Make Ham Pockets

Ham pockets are a great way to use up leftover ham. They are easy to prepare, and both adults and kids will enjoy them.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups ham, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 10 count can flaky biscuits
  • 4 tsp. melted butter
  1. Step 1

    Chop the ham into small, fine pieces using a food processor or food chopper.

  2. Step 2

    Mix the ham, mayonnaise, seasoned salt and prepared mustard together in a medium bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Open the can of biscuits. Take each biscuit and flatten it 1/2 inch thin. Use your fingers or a rolling pin.

  4. Step 4

    Spoon 1 tbsp. of ham filling into the center of each biscuit.

  5. Step 5

    Fold the biscuit in half, making a pocket and completely covering the filling.

  6. Step 6

    Seal the edges of the pockets using a fork or your fingers.

  7. Step 7

    Brush melted butter on each pocket. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until the biscuit dough is golden brown.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve Ham Pockets with soup or salad for a satisfying lunch.
  • Ham Pockets make a great after school snack.
