on 10/27/2009 I accidentally marked my desk (which has a formica surface) with a permanent marker and this method worked perfectly to remove the mark. Excellent tip!

on 10/30/2008 Gosh! I thought my eye glasses were ruined forever.I sure do thank you for posting this on the internet on how to get rid of the marker with an eraser.
My friends 8 year old boy got my eye glasses and colored them with a red and blue marker trying to make 3D glasses out of them. My lenses were plastic and I tried everything to get rid of the red and blue markings on my glasses, I was at my wits ends and was about to throw them in the trash, when I decided to search the internet and I found this website on how to get rid of blue and red markings on my glasses. Your idea worked like a charm. Thank God for people like you in the world. If it weren't for you,I wouldn't have my glasses back :)
