Things You'll Need:

- Scanner or a Printer with scanning capabilities
- Online faxing service account

Step 1
Based on your faxing needs and what you can afford, find an Internet Faxing Service Provider and sign up for an account.
To get you started, browse the following list of service providers (direct links under the "Resources"):

Step 2
Now, for the purposes of this example, say I needed to complete, sign and fax a W-9 form to a company.
Complete and sign the form. -
Step 3
Using your scanner or all-in-one printer, scan the form.

Step 4
Once you've scanned it, save it on your computer as a .PDF or .Doc document OR save it as a .TIF or .JPG image.

Step 5
Log into your internet faxing account.
Follow faxing instructions to upload your saved document or image.
Send your fax.
