InDesign can be used to lay out magazines, newspapers and digital publications.

Adobe InDesign is a desktop-publishing program that can be used to create graphic- and text-rich layouts for magazines, newspapers, newsletters and digital publications. One of the most basic actions in InDesign is inserting an image into a document; in the software, this is done using the "Place" command. You can place a photo anywhere on the page -- just use the mouse or arrow keys to move it to the desired location in your layout.
