Things You'll Need:

  • Wood, possibly an old skateboard or even just the deck if possible.
  • Barrel, rock or some other round object
  • If you do not have the old skateboard then get some tools to cut the proper shape for a board.
  • Saw or cutting device
  • tape measure
  1. Step 1

If you need to make board then draw out the shape on wood, it should be in the shape and size of a skateboard or a large oval.

  2. Step 2

Cut out the shape, or if you have a used skateboard just remove the trucks and just use the deck.

  3. Step 3

Get some round object, a small barrel is good but hard to get the right size, a good option is a 2 liter soda bottle. Fill the soda bottle up with sand or water, sand would be better it will keep its shape better. Another option is a smooth round rock, you can find a good size rock and smooth it yourself if you need to.

  4. Step 4

Put the board on top of the round object.

Tips & Warnings
  • You should look at the various designs they have at a local boardshop to get an idea of the styles of boards as well as the round object you put it on. You will see that the object is sometimes literally just appears to be a smooth shiny round rock.
  • Make sure to look at different ones because there are different kinds of designs and some stores may actually only carry a few brands that may be similar.
  • If there are no local boardshops around check the internet for pictures from online shops its not as good as seeing the real thing in person and you wont get a sense of perspective unless there are people or other objects in the picture.
  • Use caution when using power tools to make the board.
