You are planning a dinner party, and you are stuck on what to cook. Here is a way for you to find something to cook that everyone will be willing to try and eat.

From Quick Guide: Cooking Basics
Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

You first need to make a list of your friends that you are inviting to your dinner party.

  2. Step 2

Next, call your friends and find out how many of them can make it. While on the phone with them, ask them what type of food they would like to see. Pay attention to the type of meat they say. Also ask them if they have food allergies.

  3. Step 3

Rewrite your list of friends and write down next to their names any food allergies.

  4. Step 4

Get on the internet and start searching for food receives that are not only easy, but also match with what your friends would like. Must haves are a salad, a soup, a main dish (you can do vegetarian on this dish), a desert, and a cocktail.

  5. Step 5

Your next step after picking a menu is going shopping. I suggest doing this the day before your dinner party.

  6. Step 6

The morning of you dinner part, get your prep work out of the way so when it comes to cooking, it won't take as long as it would had you not done your prep.
