Here's a quick overview of how to add contacts (phone numbers) in most Audiovox cell phones. Good for one touch dialing and voice activated dialing (if you have that feature).

Click the "resources" below this article for additional cell phone help.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Go to contacts screen in your cell phone by clicking large button on the right (above the circle in the middle).

  2. Step 2

    Highlight the "add new" choice.

  3. Step 3

Type in the name and number(s) using the letters and numbers on the mobile phone keypad. This may take a few minutes and a lot of patience.

  4. Step 4

You can fill in or leave blank any fields as long as you at least have one phone number.

  5. Step 5

Arrow down to save contact and repeat for each new contact.

  6. Step 6

Repeat process for each new phone number or email address.

  7. Step 7

A shortcut to the above is adding a contact after they call you. Do this by pressing the button on the left
(or while in the "received calls" menu).

Follow the prompts and don't forget to save.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is helpful to add email addresses if you need them on the go.
  • You can also send email and text messages to contacts in your phone if your cell plan has this capability. (Call or go online to verify).
  • Exact menus and instructions will vary by model.
  • Always back up your address book if possible. Call your provider to ask how to do this; sometimes you may incur a slight charge.
