Go to "contacts" (usually on the first screen) by touching button to right.

  2. Step 2

Touch the button just below "more" (or it skips right to the contact list) then arrow down and click on the contact itself and hit "erase."
All models will confirm before erasing. Exact menus/choices vary by model but this will give you an easy to follow overview.

  3. Step 3

Again, arrow down to contact, select "erase," then erase when it asks you if you are sure.

  4. Step 4

Click the OK button in the center of your phone (usually clearly marked). You may see one final confirmation message that your contact has been deleted/erased.

Tips & Warnings
  • All of your controls are in the two buttons on the left and right and then the arrows surrounding the OK circle.
  • If you make a mistake, press the "hang up" (red) button on the right side of your phone. It is alright to start the process again.
  • It may take you a few tries before you are comfortable with the process, be patient.
  • Pay attention which contact is highlighted so you delete the correct contact.
  • If possible, back up your address book in case you do delete in error, lose or damage your phone.
