Are you afraid you have just ruined your clothing because blood got on them? Never fear, I have a solution for you!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WD-40
  1. Step 1

Rinse the blood the best you can with COLD water.

  2. Step 2

Spray on a good dose of WD-40 lubricant

  3. Step 3

Let sit for 20 minutes or even overnight

  4. Step 4

Wash as normal in your machine, set on cold.

  5. Step 5

Check your clothing before placing in the dryer. The heat from the dryer will set stains so if a spot remains, take care of it before you dry it.

Tips & Warnings
  • WD-40 is sold in the auto care department of most stores
  • WD-40 will also get out a variety of other stains. Even grease from working on vehicles! Yahoo!

on 5/3/2008 Thanks for the info. I'm really laughing, thinking that I should keep a bottle of WD-40 on my work desk and when those folks at work push my buttons, well - I'll know.....
