How to Glide Force a Card
Forcing cards on your spectator refers to when a magician makes someone choose a card, seemingly at random, all the while making her pick exactly what he wants. This type of force, known as a glide force, is an easier one to do and looks very real.

1
Shuffle the deck. You can shuffle or cut any way with a glide force.
-
2
Looking through the deck, memorize the top card.
-
-
3
Shuffle again in a way that gets the memorized top card all the way to the bottom.
-
4
Holding the deck, face down, carefully glide the bottom card towards you about an inch.
-
5
Now, no matter what happens, you have the chosen card of a spectator at the bottom, but can deal from the bottom without removing that card.
-
6
Use this force during tricks where you want to do a simple reveal that you placed a card randomly into a shuffled deck but knew where it was all along.
