Your little vine plant had a few vines hanging off to the side a few years back is now taking over the room. Regain control of your vine plants, I will show you how easy it is to cut it back and get new plants.
Fill a large vase with water, tap water works fine in my area.
Step2
Decide which of the longest vines need to be cut off, cut off several pieces of the vine but keep them less than two feet long. Pull off the leaves on the end that is cut to about eight inches from the end.
Step3
My vase is about eight inches tall, place the end that has been cut off into the vase. Make sure there are no leaves going down into the water.
Step4
Keep water in the vase and within two to three weeks you will see new roots sprouting where the leaves were on the stems. When the roots are two to three inches long then you can transplant the new starts into a potted vase filled with potting soil.
Tips & Warnings
Keep the soil damp, watering no more than twice a week and you will have a healthy and happy plant.
When plant are starting keep them out of direct sunlight, with no roots they could die rather quickly.
