How to Make Doily Luminaries

Luminaries add a certain panache to any party. For a shower or birthday party, simply decorate glass jars with paper doilies for a delicate look that shines.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Glass jars
• Tea lights
• Paper doilies
• Spray adhesive
• Grease pencil

1. 

   Clean the glass jars.

2. With a grease pencil, mark lightly where you want the doilies located on the outside of the jars.

3. 

   Place jars in a well-ventilated area on top of old newspaper and spray with adhesive.

4. Place the doilies on top of the adhesive, smoothing out any lumps with your hands.

5. Let dry and place tea lights inside.

Tips & Warnings

• This also works well on hurricane candle covers instead of glass jars.
• Save and use as vases.
• Cover with acrylic coating so they can be saved for later use.
