How to Memorize the Great Lakes

It can be confusing trying to label a map of the Great Lakes. Here's an easy method of learning them.

Instructions

1. Read all of the names of the five Great Lakes: Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario and Lake Huron.

2. Learn how to spell and pronounce every Great Lake.

3. Memorize the mnemonic "Super Man Helps Every One." Use this mnemonic to remember the names of the Great Lakes from west to east.

4. Follow the unlabeled map from west to east, filling in the names Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario as you go.
