It can be confusing trying to label a map of the Great Lakes. Here's an easy method of learning them.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Read all of the names of the five Great Lakes: Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario and Lake Huron.

  2. Step 2

Learn how to spell and pronounce every Great Lake.

  3. Step 3

Memorize the mnemonic "Super Man Helps Every One." Use this mnemonic to remember the names of the Great Lakes from west to east.

  4. Step 4

Follow the unlabeled map from west to east, filling in the names Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario as you go.
