Warm up your muscles before a round of golf. A good stretch will go a long way toward preventing injuries on the green. Stretch out your arms, shoulders, and back before and after you play.
Step2
Use the right equipment. Using golf clubs that are too long or too short can cause you to swing incorrectly to compensate for the difference. If you're not sure if you're using the right size club, ask someone at the pro shop.
Step3
Do strengthening exercises. Squeezing a hard rubber ball will strengthen the muscles of your forearm. Doing curls with lightweight dumbells will also help strengthen your arms. When your arms are strong you will rely less on the more easily injured back.
Step4
Make sure your swing is proper. Have a pro watch your swing and find out if you are swinging correctly. Incorrect swings are a huge source of golf injuries.
Step5
Warm up ahead of time. Start out at the driving range and hit a few balls to prepare before you head out on the green.

on 12/7/2007 Thanks. I don't play golf that often but the one or two times a year that I do get out there I need this. Write on!
