How to Get Your Child to Eat Vegetables

Is your child reluctant to try vegetables? Here are some tips that can get your child eating vegetables in no time.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A variety of vegetables
  1. Step 1

    Shred the vegetables and add them to a variety of dishes. You can hide them in spaghetti sauce, soups and eggs.

  2. Step 2

    Encourage your child to help prepare the food.

  3. Step 3

    Make vegetable people with a broccoli head, carrot body and celery arms using raw veggies and toothpicks.

  4. Step 4

    Try finding a dip that your child loves.

  5. Step 5

    Juice some of your vegetables or buy veggie juice and mix it with your child's favorite fruit juice.

on 10/16/2008 My son hates to eat any vegetables, but loves home made smoothies. We add carrots to his strawberries smoothies (frozen strawberries, orange juice, yogurt, a little vanilla flavor from protein powder, and fiber powder)
