Peach cobbler is a long time favorite dessert. It can be served cold, warm, or heated with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Now, you can make your very own, in about a half an hour, total!
Gather all of your ingredients. You will need 1 stick of butter, melted; a 13x9 inch pan; 2 cups of self-rising flour; 2 cups of milk; 2 cups of sugar; 2 teaspoons of either real vanilla extract, or imitation vanilla extract; 1 can of sliced (not diced) peaches in syrup. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Put butter into the pan. Mix flour, milk, and sugar in a bowl. Pour ¾ of this mixture into the pan.

Add peaches and the juice to the top of the flour/sugar/milk mixture. Do not mix the peaches in.

Add the remaining flour/sugar/milk mixture on top of the peaches.

Cook at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Tips & Warnings
You can add cinnamon, orange slices, or cherries to this dessert. Just mix together with the peaches and pour as normal.
To make this recipe lower in calories, you can use splenda or another sugar substitute, no fat milk, no fat butter, and light syrup peaches.
