There are many creative ways to wrap gifts with something useful that won't be immediately thrown away. Stop throwing money in the garbage!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Baskets
  • Pillow cases
  • Spray paint
  • T-shirts
  • Hat or shoe boxes

Step1
Put your gift inside of something that the recipient can use. Instead of wrapping in useless paper, put the gift in a great new pillowcase or a new t-shirt with the corners tied together.
Step2
Use baskets for a great gift wrap. Either fill a basket with goodies or place items inside a picnic basket. Add a bow and you're done!
Step3
Spray paint the box that the gift came in. This is great for extra large items that are impossible to wrap. Just spray paint the sides of the box and add a bow.
Step4
Put items in pretty hat or shoe boxes that can be reused. Spray paint or decorate with stickers, ribbon or anything else you can think of.
Step5
Use fabric gift bags. These can be reused over and over again!

on 12/13/2007 I love gifts that come in beautiful packages, especially the ones that can be re-used later.
