Here's how to whip up a batch of this addictive candy and dessert.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 12 oz. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/3 cups fresh butter
  • 4 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 14 oz. marshmallow cream
  • 12 oz. almond toffee bars, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 lb. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 lb. chopped pecans
  • 9 x 13 baking dish

Step1
Butter the baking dish and set aside.
Step2
Prepare the butter mixture. Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, and add the milk and sugar until blended. Bring to a boil and cook at least 5 minutes until mixture becomes thick.
Step3
Prepare chocolate mixture. Combine the marshmallow cream, chocolate bar and chocolate chips in a medium bowl.
Step4
Prepare the fudge. Pour the sugar syrup over chocolate and stir vigorously until all the chocolate is melted.
Step5
Add the nuts. Stir in the pecans, walnuts and vanilla to combine.
Step6
Leave to set. Pour entire mixture into baking dish and refrigerate immediately. Let cool at least 1-2 hours.
Step7
Cut into small squares or shapes, and serve!

Tips & Warnings

  • Add broken candy cane pieces as a topping before refrigerating for variation.
