Perhaps you are in need of a desk and aren't too concerned about how it looks. You can easily make one out of cheap items or things you already have around your house.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • door
  • two supports of equal height

Step1
Find a door that is not being used in your house. I found one in our bathroom between the toilet area and the sink area. We took it down. You can also find inexpensive doors at hardware stores or home improvement stores.
Step2
Find some supports for your desk. You could use two small file cabinets, which can be found at thrift stores for a low price, or two end tables, or two bedside tables. If you are not too picky they don't even have to match.
Step3
Set the door on the supports and take a look. If you want to hide the lower parts you can put a sheet or blanket on top of the desk.
Step4
Load it up with all of your necessities. Computers, printers, and papers will all fit nicely. There will even be a hole for your cords right in the middle of the door, where a doorknob would go.
