Things You'll Need:
- A seam ripper or a pair of sharp scissors (Seam rippers can be found in the sewing department of most stores.)
-
Step 1
First, turn the slacks in-side-out.
-
Step 2
Next, turn back the seam that is holding the hem. By turn back I mean pull the hem back away from the rest of the pants so that the seam is easy to see.
-
Step 3
Take you seam ripper or scissors and begin to very carefully cut the seam. Make sure that you are only cutting the threads of the seam and not the slacks.
-
Step 4
Do this all the way around. When you are done, steam the hem line out with an iron.
