How to Make a Beaded Bookmark

These are the instructions to make a beaded bookmark on a loom, from a pre-designed pattern.

Difficulty: Moderate

Instructions

1. Tie one end of thread to left most string on loom.

2. Take the needle under the threads and out the right-hand side.

3. Put the first row of beads on the needle and run them all the way to the end already tied.

4. Holding the beads up through the threads, run the needle through the beads making sure to go over the top of the loom threads. Slide row of beads back to left end Repeat until pattern is complete.

5. Tie end of string securely, then cut it close to the loom.

6. Glue both ends, then remove from the loom.

Tips & Warnings

• Use super glue on the finished ends. It dries clear and holds well.
