Things You'll Need:

  • computer
  • Windows Live Messenger

    It's easy to change the color of your messenger.

  1. Step 1

    Sign into your Windows Live Messenger.

  2. Step 2

    On the toolbar above your contacts, click on the paint brush.

  3. Step 3

    There you will see the colors you can choose from. If you want more options, click more at the bottom.

  4. Step 4

    Click on the color you want and then click "OK."

Tips & Warnings
  • Pick a color that compliments the current background of your desktop.

on 11/2/2009 Hi, you cant just change the windows colour of live messenger, you need to change the colour of ALL windows on your system, for example XP, Vista or Windows 7. The way to do this is to click on control panel, then appearence and personalization, then in personalization, you get the option to change window glass colour. I hope that helps you

on 3/22/2009 i selected a scene for my messenger and i want to change the colour for all the windows. i did as it says here but the colour in other windows is still light blue!! what's the problem?
