Your child's dental health is very important. Here are some ways to get them to brush.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • toothbrush
  • toothpaste
  • your child

Make brushing fun for your child.

  1. Step 1

Give your child reasons they should brush their teeth rather than just telling them to do it.

  2. Step 2

Character toothbrushes are wonderful and a great incentive to get your child to brush. Let them pick one they like.

  3. Step 3

Adult toothpaste can be too harsh for some children. My child says it's too spicy. Choose a kid toothpaste with a flavor your child enjoys.

  4. Step 4

Make it a game. Brush your teeth with your child and compete too see who can do a better job. Let the other parent be the judge.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make a chart and let your child add a sticker every time he or she brushes their teeth.
