How to Manage Multiple Bank and Credit Accounts by One Login

  1. Step 1

Check with your current banks to see if they provide an online service called "My Portfolio."

  2. Step 2

If not then open an account in one of the banks that does. Bank of America provides an excellent "My Portfolio" service. HSBC bank also does the same they call it "Easy View." It doesn't really cost much to open a free checking or saving account in one of such banks.

  3. Step 3

Once you have an online access to your bank account go to "My Portfolio" tab (Bank of America) or "Easy view" (HSBC).

  4. Step 4

Type in the search box the name of the institution you are having your credit card with, such as "Chase credit card." The search will display multiple chase account types. If you have a credit card check box against "Chase credit cards," you also have a checking account check box against "chase banking."

  5. Step 5

Next click "add accounts" or "Next." Now the web page will ask you to enter your user ID and password for each account that you are adding for one click online access. These web pages are usually secure so you may enter your user information confidently.

  6. Step 6

Congratulations! you have added accounts to My portfolio. Now add your all other bank accounts. You can also add your emails, reward accounts, utility accounts, cell phone accounts and much more. And all these accounts will be available through one single log in.

  7. Step 7

My Portfolio service usually downloads and saves all your account activities. they only need to be updates each time you log in to get the most recent transactions. You can also log in to each individual account to go to the actual website. All you do is just click the link next to the account name that says "go to site" or "log in." once you click on it a new window opens and automatically logs you in to that individual website without you having to type your user id and password.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep your My Portfolio account password and user id secure and secret. and change your password frequently, remember this is the key to all of your accounts.
  • Do not use My Portfolio service on a public computer. Even at your home computer delete all your cookies after you log out, an make 100% sure that you log out and close the browser that you used.
