How to Get a Hot Date

Virtually everyone desires to be more attractive and likable. Getting a hot date is more a matter of attitude than anything else. Put yourself out there and you are bound to get a hot date with the man or woman of your dreams. Taking good care of yourself physically and emotionally will put you among the most eligible people on the dating scene.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Maintain a consistent program of good physical health. Eating right and getting enough physical activity will not only make you more attractive to others, but it will boost your confidence and self-esteem as well.

  2. Step 2

Surround yourself with people. More specifically, get out of the house and be with your friends, and build your social network. Your friends and acquaintances often have good connections for potential hot dates.

  3. Step 3

Join a club, organization or special-interest group. Finding people who enjoy the activities and hobbies similar to yours is an easy way to meet potential dating partners.

  4. Step 4

Improve your body language. Your nonverbal signals say much more than what you utter verbally. Standing with a relaxed posture, smiling, using eye contact, leaning forward and raising your eyebrows when in conversation make you seem approachable to others.

  5. Step 5

Groom yourself regularly and consistently. Manicured nails, washed and combed hair, and soft skin make you appear younger, healthier and more touchable!

  6. Step 6

Be a good conversationalist. Stay current with local events or culture, and have a stockpile of interesting stories to tell. While attractive looks may get your foot in the door, no date will stick around for long if you can't carry a conversation.

  7. Step 7

Figure out what kinds of people you would like to date. If you're going to flirt, do so with someone you are interested in dating. It doesn't pay to send the wrong signals to someone you're not attracted to.

Tips & Warnings
  • Any aspect of dating is easier when you stay positive. Being positive affects your body language, influences what you talk about and has a contagious effect on others. Few people are attracted to negativity.
  • Humor is often a powerful way to attract others. While anyone can be funny, attempting humor requires timing, sensitivity and familiarity with the other person. Always avoid offending the other person.
  • Remember the difference between infatuation and love. Dating and relationships do not need to be rushed, even if you are extremely interested in the other person. Rushing the other person will most likely turn her off.
