The practice of breeding chickens for competitive fights is considered immoral by most people and illegal by most governments. Governmental agencies and non-profit groups have been set up to combat the problem, but to do their jobs, they rely on tips and information from concerned citizens. To do your part to help fight animal cruelty, investigate suspected cock fighting rings in your area and report your findings to the proper authorities.

on 2/29/2008 Barb wire, thugs, dangerous criminals illegalized by most governments. If that is what you believe then the wool has been pulled over your eyes just like these animal terrorists want it. In some countries this is a televised event like football, and still legal in some u.s. states. I have been around this all my life and never heard of using barb wire. Thugs and dangerous criminals, well u have those on every street corner so their might be a few sulking around in the corner at a pit, but their true color always comes out and they are not there long. And that folks is a cockfighters thoughts on this. From the great and legal for now state of La. yfis

on 2/28/2008 If you really want shocked, Investigate these so called Non Profit orgs, such as PETA and HSUS. They kill more animals than all dog fighters and cockfighters together, every year. At least if they are fighting, they have a fighting chance.

on 2/28/2008 Investigate cockfighting? Are you serious? I could care less if game cock owners fight their chickens. How about the too much time you have on your hands investigating child abuse or child porn? A chicken? Are you serious? Pass the BBQ sauce.
