If you've got iTunes on your computer, you've got access to an entire library of comedy albums and DVDs. You can listen to them when you travel, at the gym, at coffee shops or any other time you want to plug in and have a good laugh. With iTunes, you can listen to Adam Sandler sing "The Hanukkah Song" or watch an old episode of "All in the Family" without ever leaving your home.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Download the latest version of iTunes to your computer. Select Mac or Windows formats depending on the type of computer you use. Wait for about 5 minutes for the program to download, and then restart your computer.

  2. Step 2

Create an iTunes account. Provide a valid email address and create a password. You'll also need to provide a credit card to keep on file for all of your purchases.

  3. Step 3

Double-click on the iTunes icon on your desktop and wait for the page to load. Sign onto iTunes using your password. Once the page is up, click onto the iTunes store logo. Locate the "Search iTunes Store" box and type in the word "Comedy."

  4. Step 4

Get audio CDs from alternative comedians like Kathy Griffin, Jim Gaffigan or Sarah Silverman, or look for CDs from Blue Collar comics like Jeff Foxworthy or Larry the Cable Guy. Download classics from Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Bill Cosby or Rita Rudner. Get the entire album or pick just a single track. Single tracks are inexpensive, and they allow you to pick and choose from hundreds of artists.

  5. Step 5

Click the "Movies" tab and look for comedy movies. Make sure you've got the latest version of a video player. If you don't, you'll have to download Quicktime, Microsoft Media player or Real Player onto your desktop. Look for classic comedy movies like "Caddyshack" and "Animal House" or kid-friendly comedies like "The Shaggy D.A." or "Freaky Friday."

  6. Step 6

Get the latest episode of your favorite TV show. Click onto the "TV Shows" tab and scan through the listings. Catch up on popular favorites like "Reno 9-1-1" or "The Chapelle Show," or watch network favorites like "30 Rock" or "Two and a Half Men."

  7. Step 7

Click onto the "File" tab at the top of your screen, and hit "New Playlist." Create a comedy playlist and drag all of your comedy albums, movies and TV shows into a single folder for easy access.
