Put a pair of potty training underpants on the doll. Your child should also be wearing a pair.

Place the doll on the potty chair and pull its pants down. Dr. Phil suggests that you and your child watch the doll "go potty" together.

Throw a party for the doll. You can get as festive as you want with hats, decorations and other party items.
-
8
Tell your child that when she goes potty, she will get a party too.

Tips & Warnings
During the process of potty training, your child should be wearing a pair of training pants. Leave the diapers for another time.
Incorporate your child's favorite superhero in the training. While another person plays the part of the superhero, your child can get on the phone and announce the good news to the hero.
If your child has an accident during the course of this training, do not get angry or punish him. Just take him to the potty until he has a successful attempt.
