3
Dip the tip of your brush into water. This makes for more intense color saturation on the brush and also helps to create a pen-like tool for applying eyeliner. Only dip the brush in water if you're using eye shadow or mineral powder products to line the eyes.

4
Sweep your eye liner brush across the powder of your choice. If you choose not to wet the brush, make sure to tap the excess powder off before applying.

5
Place your left middle finger (use your right if you're left handed) just under the eyebrow at the outer corner and apply light pressure. Close your eye slightly to get a better view of the upper lid.

6
Use short strokes to apply eyeliner from the inner corner to the outer edge of the upper lid. Start out with a thin line and let the line get a little thicker as you work your way across the lid.
-
7
Use your left hand to apply slight pressure to the top of the cheekbone just under the eye. Since the under-eye area tends to lose elasticity as we grow older, it's important to be very careful not to pull down too hard on the eye.
-
8
Dip the brush in liner and apply it from the inner corner to the outer corner of the lower lid. Start where the lash begins, making sure to run the brush as close to the lash as possible. Blend any harsh lines when you're done.
