Casual spring sandals come in a variety of styles, which include ankle straps, flats, slides, low heels, mid heels, platforms, slingbacks, T-straps and toe loops. Sandals may be woven, acrylic or synthetic material. There are sandal designs to wear for every casual activity throughout the spring and into the summer season.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a hook and loop casual sandal to wear in comfort all day long. This style is easy to put on and take off. Hook and loop styles come in a variety of heel heights from flat to 4 inches.

  2. Step 2

Let leather sandals be your choice for long-lasting comfort throughout the spring. Casual designs include thongs, slides, wedges, t-straps and slings. The leather acts as a natural moisture wick to keep your feet dry.

  3. Step 3

Be ready for any casual event when you wear a pair of rubber thongs. The rubber footbed makes the shoe comfortable for those long, outdoor activities.

  4. Step 4

Make your choice of sandals for casual wear this spring be those created with good arch support.

  5. Step 5

Wear sandals with an ankle strap for extra safety. For those with mobility issues, an ankle strap may be just the thing that's needed to make it possible to wear trendy spring sandals while not jeopardizing safety.

  6. Step 6

Select sandals with a lightly padded footbed for more comfort. Standing for long periods or walking on cement floors or sidewalks can cause pain in the feet and lower back if the shoe does not provide good support.

  7. Step 7

Choose a toe ring sandal for chic comfort in a casual shoe for spring. The toe ring gives added structure to the shoe and keeps it from slipping as much as a thong sandal tends to.

  8. Step 8

Try out a pair of rubber sole and rubber upper T-strap sandals with an adjustable ankle strap for casual beach attire. The rubber makes the shoe waterproof and the ankle strap makes it sturdy.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you try on a pair of casual sandals, don't just slip your foot in to see if you have the right size. Wear them long enough to see if you feel uncomfortable pressure on any part of your foot. Pay particular attention to the arch support.
  • Sandals without straps to hold the shoe securely on the foot can be hazardous for individuals with poor stability. Sandals that can slip off easily can cause one to trip or fall.
