Most parents don't give a second thought to parading around naked in front of their babies or young toddlers, but there comes a point when clothing becomes a must around opposite sex children. Moms and dads need to know when the time has come to put on a pair of pants and cover up the breasts.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Realize that staring excessively at your private parts without saying anything is a good sign that it may be time to cover the genitals around the children. Silly grins and giggling are sure signs it is time to cover up.
Step2
Know that if your children are obviously looking, but are old enough to know they shouldn't draw attention to your nudity or ask questions, it is time to wrap a towel around yourself.
Step3
Think about whether you feel uncomfortable in any way when naked around your child. If you do, it's time to cover up. This is also true if your child seems uncomfortable.
Step4
Recognize that the age to stop being naked in front of childen will vary from household to household. Do what feels right for you and your family. If it doesn't feel wrong to you to be naked in front of your 5 year old, chances are it won't feel wrong to your child either.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never do anything sexually oriented in the presence of your child. Parental nudity is an individual decision but crosses the line when anything sexual is said or done.
