These instructions will walk you through wiping a Blackberry 8800 or 8830 device.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blackberry 8800 or 8830
  1. Step 1

    From your Blackberry "home" screen find and click on the "options" icon.

  2. Step 2

    Choose "security options"

  3. Step 3

    Choose "general settings"

  4. Step 4

    Click on your Menu key on your keyboard. It is the button with the dots on it. This will bring up a menu within the "general settings" screen.

  5. Step 5

    Choose "wipe handheld".

Tips & Warnings
  • This will erase any data and extra applications on the device. Be sure that you are not concerned about data loss before going through with this.
