• land line telephone

Follow these steps to block your number from showing on a caller ID.

1. Pick up your phone and listen for a dial tone.
2. If using a touch tone phone, press *67. If using a rotary phone, dial 1167.
3. You will hear two beeps and then a dial tone. Dial the person's telephone number you are trying to reach.

Tips & Warnings

• 67 is the code for landline Verizon telephones. Some companies codes may differ. To verify your proper code, check your telephone directory. The steps will be the same.
