Making the cookies you love to eat is easy. But if you decide to be unconventional, why not bake your chocolate chip cookies in a heart shaped baking pan? Here is how I did it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Big Tub of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • Heart Shaped Baking Pan(s)(greased or not)
  • Grease in bucket or aerosol baking spray
  • Knife
  1. Step 1
Oven set at 375 degrees F

Before you turn on the oven, take the store-bought chocolate chip cookie dough out of refrigerator to thaw out. Once thawed out, about 5 to 10 minutes, turn oven on at 375 degrees F. Let your oven get hot for at least 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Take your heart shaped baking pan(s) and grease them for easy removal of cookies. If you bought an already greased baking pan, even better. These heart-shaped baking pans can be found at a local craft store or big discount store.

  3. Step 3

With baking pans greased, take a tablespoon or cup and put about 7 tbs. of cookie dough in the heart shaped baking pan(s). Once in bottom of pan(s), press cookie dough down until flattened.

  4. Step 4

Place heart-shaped baking pan in the oven (on the middle rack) for 20 minutes. Because you will be using an unusual baking pan shape, it will take longer to bake such a large amount of cookie dough.

  5. Step 5
    Ready for eating!

Finally, after 20 minutes, take cookies out of the oven with oven mitts and let cool in pan for about 5to 10 minutes. By this time, the cookies should be cool and ready to eat.

Tips & Warnings
  • All ovens are calibrated differently, so bake accordingly.
  • You and your family or friends will like this as a gift.
  • You can also use those icing pens to write names on cookies, or a design if you like.
