Making Homemade Sticker/ Embellishments
Step1
Desktop Computer and Color Ink Jet Printer
Sit at your desk, turn on your desktop computer and printer. Click on the word processing software icon on computer desktop.
Step2
Gallery Window in Word Processing Software
Click on the big "A" on your drawing toolbar at the bottom of your word processing software. Once open, the gallery window will open up. From here, click on the first box outlined. This will open and say "Your Text Here."
Step3
Baby Abby and Baby Emma Text for Stickers/Embellishments
In this window, type in the text you want to make into a sticker/embellisment. Then click on the Okay button and your text will appear on a blank page. You can also use any font you like, there is no one font you must use.
Step4
Art Toolbar for your text
From here, left click on the text and a text window and toolbar will appear on your page. To add color, stripes, dots or whatever to your text, click on the format (paintbrush icon) and a window will open up with several tabs for you to use.
Step5
Color and Lines Dropdown Window for your text
Now, click on the "color and lines" drop down where you can pick a color or colors for your text, like a "custom color" or "fill effect" using a "gradient", "texture", "pattern" or "picture", within your text. If you click in the "line" box, in the color box, you can remove the black outline of your text by clicking on the white box.
Step6
Printed and Cut Stickers/Embellishments for Cards or Scrapbooking
This is one sticker/embellishment ready to be printed, cut and fitted with foam stickers. You can use a laminating machine if you want to. This is an added expense though.
Step7
Roll of Sticky Foam for Scrapbooking or Homemade Cards
For these stickers/embellishments, you will be cutting around the words, try not to go in between the spaces as there is no need to separate the words. Like store bought embellishments, they sometimes are made in phrase form too. Now, cut foam squares, from the sticky foam roll, to the back of your stickers/embellisments and place on your homemade cards or scrapbooks. There, that was easy, right?
