Babies love to open and close doors. Because they love doing this, their little fingers have the possibility of getting stuck in a door. That is why it is important to protect those fingers and here is what you can do.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Door safety latch, or something like it

Step1
Part of latch drilled into wall Go to your local hardware store, discount store or baby store and look for a wall/door attachment.
Step2
Part of latch attached to door Ask for a door/wall latch to attach to your the wall. This latch will connect to your door and will stay in place preventing little fingers from being stuck in closing door.
Step3
Attach both pieces to the prospective area, wall and door with nails provided and your hammer or drill.
Step4
Part of latch attached to door from afar Once both pieces are attached, babies, as hard as they might, will not be able to close any doors in your home again.
