How to Make Spicy Spanish Shrimp

This is a really easy recipe to cook and taste really great also.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1-1/2 lbs. peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.)diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 jar (3 oz.) pimento-stuffed olives, drained (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 Tbsp. small capers, rinsed and drained

Step1
1. Season Shrimp, if desired, with salt and ground black pepper.
Step2
In 12- inch non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and cook shrimp, turning once, for 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Step3
Remove to platter and keep warm.
Step4
In same skillet, cook onion, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until golden.
Step5
Stir in garlic and red pepper flakes and cook 30 seconds.
Step6
Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over high heat.
Step7
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
Step8
Return shrimp to skillet and heat through.

Tips & Warnings

  • This meal taste excellent served with hot cooked rice.
