If you want a yummy, quick and easy to make spread for your crackers and sandwiches try the home made cheese pimiento spread. Serve it as party appetizers or snacks for your whole family and guests to enjoy.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 box (32 oz.) Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 jar (30 fl. oz.) Reduced fat mayonnaise dressing
  • 2 red bell peppers (diced) or buy ready-to-use in a jar
  • grater
  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • crackers or breads
  1. Step 1
    Diced red bell pepper.
    Diced red bell pepper.

    Wash a couple of red bell peppers, remove seeds and then dice. Set aside.

  2. Step 2
    Grate cheese.
    Grate cheese.

    Grate cheddar cheese and place in a mixing bowl.

  3. Step 3
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Mix all ingredients together.

    Mix in with the grated cheese the diced peppers and mayonnaise until fluffy.

  4. Step 4
    Crackers spread with cheese pimiento.

    Spread on crackers or sandwich and then serve. Put the rest in an empty jar and refrigerate.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use fat-free mayonnaise.
  • Add a pinch of salt if needed for taste.
  • Use ready-made diced bell peppers that come in a jar.
  • You can use this mixture as a dip for your favorite chips.
