A delicious treat for the holidays or anytime, homemade peanut butter cups are a treat everyone will love! You'll know by the chocolate on their lips!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microwave
  • Freezer
  • Microwavable bowl
  • Small, plastic zipper bag
  • Graham crackers
  • Ladle
  • Cupcake pan
  • Cupcake wrappers
  • Chocolate morsels
  • Creamy peanut butter
  • Graham crackers
  1. Step 1

In microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate morsels (start with 1 cup, can add more later) for 1 minute. Take out and stir, then put in longer if necessary. Consistency needs to be smooth.

  2. Step 2

Place cupcake wrappers in cupcake pan and ladle melted chocolate into bottom of cups, 1/3 high. Place pan in freezer for 5 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Put 2 graham crackers in plastic, zipper bag and pound until it's all crumbs. Mix this with 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter. When mixed, roll into small, grape-size balls.

  4. Step 4

Take out tray of chocolate. Place peanut butter balls in the center of each chocolate. Cover each one with remaining melted chocolate, making sure peanut butter is completely covered.

  5. Step 5

Place again in freezer, now for 20 to 30 minutes or until chocolate has completely hardened. Best to keep refrigerated.

on 9/1/2009 Yes, the graham crackers are for added texture. They are reeeeaaally yummy! Always seems like they're eaten a lot quicker than they're made! ;)
