Things You'll Need:
- A computer
- An email address
-
Step 1
Get an email address. This is essential in internet friendships. You may want to have a single address just for your private use and another for business related things.
-
Step 2
Begin joining social clubs. There are a variety of these ranging from small ones to the big name ones we all know such as: Myspace, Facebook or Tribe. To find a club you might like, just type in the words social networking clubs into your search browser and check out the hits you get.
-
Step 3
Join message boards. There are tons of message boards across the net. To find one, all you have to do is type one of your hobbies (stamp collecting, fitness, hiking, cats, dogs, etc), a magazine you like (yes some of them have their own boards) or a favorite television show (yeah, they have them, too). Just think about some of your interests type them in and add the words message board and see what appears in your search bar.
-
Step 4
Once you find a find a social club you like, build a profile and begin searching for people to chat with online. Once you find a message board you like, post a comment and wait until people start answering in return.
