How to Pick the Super Bowl Winner Before the Season Starts

The Super Bowl is one of the great events in all of sports. Many people like to predict who will win the Super Bowl. Could you do so, though, before the NFL season even begins? Here are some tips on how to pick the winner of the Super Bowl before the season begins.

1. Know about the NFL. You have to know the teams, the rosters and the coaches before you can even begin to think about which team will win the Super Bowl
2. Look at the odds. Chances are that a team with a 100 to 1 chance of winning the Super Bowl won’t be playing in it.
3. Look at a team’s schedule. Does a team have a relatively easy schedule? If so, you may want to consider them. That team will have an easier road to get to the Super Bowl. From there, it’s just one game.
4. Examine the obstacles in the way of your Super Bowl team. Does the team that you’ve selected play in a particular tough division? Is there a team in the conference that has a better shot of making it to the Super Bowl? If so, you may want to change your preseason Super Bowl pick.
5. Know how your team does at home and on the road. If, for example, a team plays great at home but only ok at home and they have a very tough schedule, there is a good chance that the team will not have home field advantage in the playoffs. This could significantly damage that team’s chances of playing in the Super Bowl.
6. Listen to what the experts are saying. You’ll want to shy away from a team that most experts are picking to finish last in its division. That team probably won’t playing in the Super Bowl, let alone winning it all.
