Read on to learn how to make a pendant to go with your fabric beads.

Things You'll Need:

  • Fabric scraps
  • Multi-purpose glue
  • Water
  • Paper plates
  • Scissors
  • Clear nail polish
  • Paper towels
  • Plastic paint brushes

    How to Make a Fabric Pendant

  1. Step 1

    Decide on the shape and size of your pendant.

  2. Step 2

    Cut the shape out of the notebook cover.

  3. Step 3

    Using the notebook shape as a pattern, cut out 2 fabric shapes.

  4. Step 4

    Cut out two strips of fabric that measure ΒΌ inches wide and 2 inches long.

  5. Step 5

    Glue the wrong sides of the strips together, then glue the ends of the strip to each side of your notebook shape, leaving enough of the strip sticking up to run your bead string through.

  6. Step 6

    Glue the wrong sides of your fabric shapes to each side of the notebook shape.

  7. Step 7

    Allow to dry for 24 to 48 hrs.

  8. Step 8

    Apply 3 coats of clear nail polish to the pendant and bail. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next.

  9. Step 9

    String your beads and pendant.
