To begin an acrylic painting, choose a subject that you feel comfortable with. Then watch as a masterpiece appears on the canvas.

Instructions

Step 1

Sketch your subject onto the canvas.
Step 2

Pour some paint onto the plastic plate and add 3 drops of varnish. Sprits with water and mix well.
Step 3

Paint your subject.
Step 4

When your painting is done, sign and date it in the bottom right or left hand corner.
Step 5

Stand back and enjoy your creation.

Tips & Warnings

There is no right or wrong way to begin an acrylic painting. Just go where your imagination, inspiration, and the painting takes you.
Acrylic paints tend to dry up fast, so keep the spray bottle handy and sprits them as often as necessary.
Be sure to wash your brushes in warm soapy water after each use.
