Have you ever came home to a house smelling of some horrible odor? There are many things that we do not realize leave odors behind. This article will give some tips on how to keep your home smelling fresh and nice all day long.
Cleaning comes first. Wipe up any spills that may have gone unnoticed and have all trash in a closed container.
Step2
If you have children still in diapers you might use a diaper pail. If you find that you are constantly cleaning this pail because of the odor it leaves behind, consider just bagging the dirty diapers. Use those plastic bags you get from grocery stores and just tie it after you put the diaper in.
Step3
Choose a way to distribute the scent. There are so many different items you could use like incense, plug-in, potpourri, bulb ring, reed diffuser, oil warmer--the list goes on and on. Choose whatever works best for you.
Step4
Enjoy coming home to your favorite scent!
Use the same chosen scent throughout the house. You can choose different scents but try to make sure they do not clash. Some scents do not smell their greatest when combined with completely different scents.
Step5
If you have trash ready to be taken out, don't leave it until you get home. Take it out before you go to work. Leaving it could cause more odors and you may be able to identify the smell, but why not avoid it if possible?
Tips & Warnings
If you have pets consider products that take pet odors out.

Sometimes a quick fixer up is boiling cinnamon and water on the stove. In 10 minutes it makes the house smell so good. Bring it to a boil. You can buy cinnamon at the dollar store too.
